Comment 4 for bug 475936

I've checked the mountall code; the SIGUSR1 handler only rescans for remote mount points. So no need for anyone to provide the debugging information requested in the previous comment.

I think I've sussed out how to do this correctly using 'dmsetup rename'; will have a go at the code and will hopefully have this uploaded to lucid soon.
