this may work, it worked for me:

download the 64bit plugin from here: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html

remove any existing flash plugins from /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ AND ~/.mozilla/plugins

extract new version via root to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
