@Fujiyama: Switching back to EXA is not really a solution.
I use the latest intel driver and xorg 7.4~5ubuntu18 from jaunty repo and regular Xorg.conf with UXA set. I do experience the same issue.
I am running KDE with Kwin native composite engine. Even with special effect the ram gets filled upand so does the swap.
I don't have a clue which process does the leak. Htop reports high memory use:
3303M as VIRT
261M as RES
105M as SHAR
My swap is full up to 918/956 mb eventough I have only 1024/3790 of Ram used.
I wonder how to debug further. I can't test to go back to EXA as latest Intel driver are now UXA only.
