Still reproducible in 13.04, out of the box install. (everything default)

The workaround shown in #39 and #41 still works, though I think it uses the wrong sound file. I use this, for the default bell sound:
    pactl upload-sample /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/bell.ogg bell.ogg
