With today's updates I can launch a first screen with a size of 640x480:

gst-launch-0.10 -v v4l2src ! video/x-raw-yuv,width=640,height=480 ! ffmpegcolorspace ! xvimagesink

El flujo es en vivo y no necesita PRECACHEADO ...
