I have the same problem that you have (I have three wiimotes so I can use them as a giroscope). IMHO bluetooth support in intrepid is really broken. Two machines with intrepid, it doesn't work, it worked when it had Hardy(and former ubuntu versions).
I had tried everything I could, installing Blueman, updating BlueZ, removing them and compiling from source...
Usually you find a lot of help with solving problems in linux looking at mail lists, now you see a lot of people with this problem, but no solutions.
It would be great that the people that modified Hardy for Intrepid could give the people clues about what could be the problem. The more eyes that look at it the better options to solve the problem.
