The recommends are sword-comm, sword-dict and sword-text, which are virtual packages which can be provided by several different packages.

There are 14 different packages that provide the sword-text component: http://packages.ubuntu.com/edgy/virtual/sword-text

sword-text-arasvd is indeed in Arabic. sword-text-kjv (2.2-2) and sword-text-web (1.4-3) are in English.
