Why is it that if we use a kernel other than 2.6.27 then our internet connection works fine? This problem started with the introduction of the 2.6.27 kernel so how can it not be a kernel problem? This decision seems to be side stepping a really big problem for a few of us. Luckily there's a solution but for someone new to Linux trying out Ubuntu this problem could be a big turn off. Will release notes be included in the final iso? If not, then these new Ubuntu users could have trouble connecting to find these release notes. I could not connect to Ubuntu's forum or ubuntu.com at all with this problem.
