Thanks for your bugreport.

I suspect this is missing in the language pack, if I use my local build the translations now up fine.

It looks like there are no POT files in the import queue for apturl.

For some reason, the lang-o-matic script is not picking the template updated from apturl.

I tried to build apturl on my system (Karmic beta ) but it failed with this error:

dh --with python-central binary-arch
 dpkg-genchanges -B >../apturl_0.4.1ubuntu2_i386.changes
dpkg-genchanges: arch-specific upload - not including arch-independent packages
dpkg-genchanges: error: cannot read files list file: No such file or directory
dpkg-buildpackage: error: dpkg-genchanges gave error exit status 2
debuild: fatal error at line 1334:
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -D -us -uc -B failed

It turns out its in the wrong langauge-pack:

language-pack-kde-de-base: /usr/share/locale-langpack/de/LC_MESSAGES/apturl.mo

A couple of updates:

* I built the package locally with striptranslations enabled, and the POT file is generated fine and contains the dialog strings as expected.

* The *.ui file is only for KDE (and might be hitting bug 427358, perhaps), as apturl is still using libglade and not GtkBuilder

Most importantly, mvo found out why it appears untranslated: apturl.mo is installed in the KDE language packs (you should see it in the language-pack-kde-hu-base), so the bug seems to be in langpack-o-matic not figuring out correctly the language pack to distribute the file in (should probably be language-pack-*).

fixed in langpack-o-matic. apturl.mo should now go into the main language-packs, not -kde- anymore.
