the bug is still here on my sys as of nov 12, 11 PM east coast US , tried all fixes suggested here no help , the error msg when I go to sys>prefs>sound and test sound is .
audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512!
audioconvert! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink:
could not open audio device for playback
