Comment 92 for bug 192382

sudo apt-get install module-assistant
sudo m-a update
sudo m-a prepare
sudo m-a a-i alsa

i tried this but when i restarted it i got no sound and it froze every time i tried to log in
but i did get logged in 2 times
once it stopped accepting input from the keyboard the 2nd i tired to reload it but then it froze
