yes i know but linixmint 7.10 did not crash and also the updater did work
perfect.
i do not know how they did it it fixed it, but it works

aks them on the foum, they are very friendly

Right...... why would we do this when this is an Ubuntu/Kubuntu bug
list? The fact that Linuxmint is built on Ubuntu notwithstanding.
