Thank you for your bug report. I feel sorry that it has been missed/ignored for so long.
I can confirm the first issue, too, using SATA devices and will look into getting this fixed for Hardy.

However, please file separate bug reports for the other issues, so they can be tracked separately, if they are not reported already.
