* I'm using Intrepid Ibex on a Thinkpad T61, and I found that if you run gconf-editor and "uncheck" the following option:
apps->gnome-power-manager->lock->suspend
The problem will happen when suspend is triggered from fn-f4 (not from the user switcher applet).
But it never happens if this option is checked (lock screen when suspending).
