Me neither, but it _sounds_ like it could be related to IRQs not coming
back properly after suspend (a timer or something?). The mouse will
happily provide interrupts as you move it, whether that is what's
dragging the system along and letting it execute things, I don't know.

Disclaimer... I'm no expert on suspend / resume, so the above suggestion
may be complete rubbish. It's where I'd start looking if I were seeing
the issue.

Does cat /proc/interrupts show various interrupt counts increasing after
the resume? Are any static which were increasing before the suspend?
