The options which make suspend work for my pc are : (ignore -f, that is just used to force to suspend if machine is not in whitelist)
-p, --vbe_post: VBE POST the graphics card after resume
-m, --vbe_mode: get VBE mode before suspend and set it after resume

I don't have compiz installed (neither beryl nor compiz-fusion nor metisse nor any other 3d desktop ;) )
However, glxinfo says direct rendering is enabled. With the above two s2ram options, I've tested in suse, suspend works with direct rendering enabled. However when compiz is enabled, many problems are caused (in suse).

Can you please tell me how do I emulate the -p and -m options using acpi-support ?

My mistake, sorry :) Also, xsession-errors file is there in the compressed tarball, but I forgot to un-hide it !
