Comment 2 for bug 630524

An exception for this package should be granted because it is listed as an official dependency of the GNOME 2.31.x series (http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointThirtyone/ExternalDependencies). This package is also a dependency of gupnp-vala, which I have also filed a sync request for (lp:636636).

The impact to release and the distribution as a whole is minimal as currently, no packages in the default install depend on any of the gupnp stuff.

This package is built and has been installed from my ppa (ppa:cszikszoy/upnp).
