If SRUs are required, I will be happy to assist with them (being a member of the sru-verficiation team) and help sponsoring the fixes.

I think its better to have the package in the archive and to be able to issue regular SRUs that people get through the regular channels than if we do not provide a repository and have little chance to issues updates to every envy user.
