KDE has nothing to do with the installer of Kubuntu, just like GNOME has nothing to do with the installer of Ubuntu.

That obvious, 'cause there is no way to file a bug report against "ubiquity (Kubuntu)".

For the second time, Ubuntu and Kubuntu use the SAME version of Ubiquity. So they both should work the same. Except for the design, there is NO difference between the Ubiquity's. So it's not that's interesting to know, 'cause it has to do with Kubuntu too, since it uses the same version of ubiquity.
