Bug Description
Hello,
I am using Rosetta to translate Scilab.
Since Scilab is a big software, it has been split into modules. Each module has his own translation template on launchpad.
The problem here is that the overview of the translation is everything but useful:
https:/
If I want to know if a translation into a language X is OK, I have to browse each template...
However, I can see other project which has a better output:
https:/
Would it be possible to have the same interface ?
Thanks
Sylvestre

I wrote a long comment here but lost it due to a hardware crash. :-(
In a nutshell: I don't think we could show the exact same listing that Xara has with such a long list of templates. That would produce a ridiculously long page; for example, the Xara page shows me 11 translations of its single template.
So is there something else we can do? Our engineering time is limited, so I can't make promises about implementing any of this, but let's look at our options.
For example, I could imagine showing only template names on the release-series page, and then a single overview with, for every language, the full status summed up across all templates. So you'd see the statistics for trunk's translations to French, for example, without any specifics about what's in which template. Of course we'd have to make sure we wouldn't be removing something that was very valuable to other users.
Another option might be to add something to the overview page for a translation. So you might be on the German translation page, say, and under the Description sub-tab you'd see a summary of the status of the German translations of each of your templates there. That is not as useful if you're trying to get the grand overview, but if you want the information from a translator's perspective, maybe it's better.
Could you say how well either of these would address your needs, or maybe add other suggestions?
