Binary package hint: evince

Hi,
      the attached PDF document is not displayed correctly in evince.

Basically I get a blank screen, whereas on gmail I can view it correctly.

To reproduce this is easy, just open the attached document. It happens on both Intrepid and Jaunty.

works fine for me , evince 2.26.1, give it few seconds to render , the document s is a large image

   can you try with Intrepid?

I've tried it just now, left rendering for minutes but all I get is a blank page - CPU completely idle.

$ apt-cache policy evince
evince:
  Installed: 2.24.1-0ubuntu1

the following PDF document cannot be displayed with evince/poppler however it works fine with acroread and xpdf. what you only get with poppler is a yellow box but nothing else.

I have the same problem with the attached pdf on Jaunty:

$ apt-cache policy evince

Tried also with 2.26.0-0ubuntu1, same effect.

confirmed on Jaunty, however that's a poppler issue, evince uses it as a pdf rendering backend, reassigning to poppler, we need to send this upstream as well.

This document uses Darken blend mode:

gfx state dict: << /Type /ExtGState /BM /Darken /ca 1 >>

Blend modes are not implemented in cairo backend yet.
