@Frederik: Interesting idea, however we were already planning to add a hide button directly to the layouts. I'm working on it in this branch: https://code.launchpad.net/~onboard/onboard/layout-tree (very unfinished).

@Lukas (long ago, I know): There is probably going to be a move and quit button too, this will allow us to make window decoration optional.
