Tis bug is still alive in Uuntu Lucid Lynx Netbook Remix. The partition are displayed in Files & Folders and there is no way to get rid of this.

Editing /apps/netbook-launcher/volume_exclude_list in the gconf editor won't change anything. Declare volumes in /etc/fstab with nouser,ro,noauto will only work for non-boot volume. I've try many tricks to fix this but the Windows 7 boot partition is still show up and readable/writable.
