I just switched my theme to "Dust Sand" in karmic and had trouble catching the very slim border to resize windows. It looks like it only has one or two pixels of border. I reverted to human which I'm more used to and it's fine for me.

It seems like there is a better solution here than requiring themes to have large borders, as the thin borders do look nice. I like the idea of expanding the catchable portion of the border, but it might get in the way when you try to select text near the border. Maybe it would be possible to make the border sticky to your mouse like when you move a window to the edge of the screen with compiz enabled.

What I'm doing 99% of the time is widening a terminal window or web browser in order to view wrapped text. it would solve my specific problem to make the entire area of the vertical scroll bar drag-able. When you moved up and down you would move the scroller as usual, and when you drag to the right you would expand the window. Again you could make that action sticky so you don't accidentally resize it when your scrolling.
