It is pretty clear that this is an issue and it is also pretty clear that the folks who 'get to say' do not want to fix it.
I seems pointless to continue nominating it for the next release since that tactic has been ineffective since 6.06.
Seems to me it is time to find an alternative to the un-cooperative component.
