Comment 45 for bug 380504

Leonard asked me to review this bug, because of my comment in #41 that this was only half done.

the other half I meant is to investigate flacoste's hypothesis I described in comment #31--haproxy. Investigating was blocked (#33) but then was unblocked (#40).

I don't believe that Robert's dismissal (comment #44) is accurate: the bug describes daily problems, which could be explained by the HAproxy hypothesis, but not by rollouts. That said, the bug lasted a long time, and covered too much ground. Robert's reply is pertinent to comment #43, just not to the whole bug.

Per Robert's comment #42, I think this bug could be regarded to be fix released for the lazr.restfulclient change. We probably want to open a Launchpad bug about the daily 502s described, and investigate the HAProxy hypothesis. I'll ask Robert to confirm or deny; I may be misunderstanding his position.
