After investigation with the sys admins, these errors do correlates to either the daily edge update or to other incident where the app server was restarted manually. We need to revise our procedure to first disable the app server in the load balancer, wait a little for pending requests to be processed, and then restarting the app server. (And then re-enable it in the load balancer.)
