Additionally, lazr.restful *appears* to be causing a count(*) on *every* page of a paginated API, not just the first one. This may require a separate fix? See https://lp-oops.canonical.com/oops.py/?oopsid=1681EB1345 query 6 - takes 4 seconds on its own.
