More data - we expect the common case to have result sets around 2K, so a quick hack will help but not fix.

Julian suggests an index on date_finished, status to avoid the table scans (makes sense to me) = vet it on staging, but +1 from my db review hat.

And if we can make API's more tolerant here that would rock.
