When the Firefox option network.http.sendRefererHeader is set to 1, referers are send in POST requests but not in XMLHttp POST Requests. This results in a user being able to edit, for example, the bug description by clicking the link while holding shift. It is, however, impossible for the user to use the same approach when adding a comment. Thus making it impossible for a lot of users to post comments to Launchpad.

When posting something using an XMLHttp POST Request, the message returnewd contains a full HTML page of which the source is displayed plain-text in your Yui pretty-overlay-window. I think this is a bug on itself but it will also be resolved when this bug is finally resolved after more than 2 years of annoying users with faulty 'security' mechanism's.
