Karl, from conversation with others, the current UI is the UI we have today: barber pole on the left margin, privacy box on the top right.
The problems it has is this: if you are working with private stuff all day, you want *public* stuff to be really obviously different. The pole is too subtle. One customer I spoke to didn't even realize it was a thing.
