I agree with the utility of the "doc-team" use case that TAC notes. If there was a relatively clean url for the contents of the latest version of a given file, that would be most of what we'd need.
but without all the surrounding chrome that would confuse an end-user. And of course I'd want it to be presented with an html mime type if it was an html file.
