Comment 85 for bug 482993

Hi. I tried to find a solution in different forums, but was not successful... :-(

Brief description of my problem: Similar to the earlier posts here, I try to export to tikz from Inkscape and get the lxml error message. The tikz-file has been created, but is empty.

I am running Mac OS 10.8.2
Xquartz 2.7.4
Inkscape 0.48.2 r 9819
Installed python 2.6 and 2.7 via macports

Has anybody seen this before and maybe found a solution?

Inkscape launches and produces nice .svg and .tex-files (by pstricks extension). Since beamer and pstricks do not go together well, I was hoping to export to tikz from Inkscape.

Your help will be much appreciated!
