I installed the work-around as described in the posts of June 30 by Windell and myself. It works (Imac21.5 with Snow Leopard 10.6.4), but extremely slow (Modify path --> Add nodes takes about a minute to divide a straight line into 4 segments). And previously I found that it is not stable in all situations, and sometimes causes a crash.
