Comment 36 for bug 482993

I just figured out today, that I am not the only one with this issues. I am new the Inkscape recently.
I am running
OS X 10.6.3 and have confirmed python 2.6.1 like in #8 & Inkscape .47 r22583
Initially started with mac X11
I found XQuartz and installed 2.5.1 today, and reinstalled Inkscape, no change

I have since upgraded to python 2.7 from http://www.python.org/download/
I selected " Python 2.7 PPC/i386/x86-64 Max OS X Installer Disk Image (for Mac OS X 10.5 or later)"
(there is also a 32-bit version only), installed no change.
It is good to see that this should be fixed soon, but I will see what I can figure out on my side. I will post more as I study this.
