Comment 16 for bug 482993

Like all other suggestions, also this last one did not work with me. I also installed the Inkscape 0.48 pre-release, but still the same message when using extensions like "Modify Path/Add Nodes".
I am an end user, and not an experienced Unix user, so all the suggested work-arounds with all kind of Unix stuff do not work for me. It does amaze me that this problem, which seems to exist over more than a year is still not solved.
