I can confirm the fix for another file.
It uses Georgia and Karabine; you can get Georgia from ttf-mscorefonts-installer and Karabine from here:
http://www.dafont.com/karabine.font

pre4 gives 6 MB, multiple overlapping paths
SVN after my patch gives 920 KB, single paths (correct)
