Tested again with a simple rectangle on Windows XP, rev. 21627. The affected LPEs are:
* bend
* interpolate sub-path
* knot
* stitch sub-path

Some effects (Von Koch, envelope, hatches) crash when you undo/redo or when they are combined with another LPE.
The others don't crash at all.

Not reproduced with 0.46.
