The problem appears again in yesterdays build (2nd April) on WinXP, all python related options seem to be affected (effects and help menu).

There are also bugs reported about crashes when saving as .gpl and .dxf and opening .wmf and .cgm that also might be python related: bug 197359, bug 201630.
