PS: I understand that if you use an italic felt tipped pen for calligraphy
then the nib is oriented perpendicular to that of a fountain pen and hence
the calligraphy tool works are expected. I guess a toggle to go between
italic pen and fountain pen mode (as I described) would be the most
flexible option, as for which should be the default... that's a matter for
debate.
