Comment 15 for bug 1249423

Thanks for the patch JazzyNico, I concur with you. The patch is an improvement over the situation we had before and I don't think it breaks anything.

One question though: Inkscape seems to be able to detect the system language already to set the UI language accordingly. Why don't we use the same mechanism here so one does not have to explicitly set a language in preferences?
