Comment 4 for bug 395905

What makes this a challenging ticket is the ubuntu-docs package. I can find no way to test and see the results of anything I do in the source xml.

I've tried to create a patch for this, but I have a fear this is not valid docbook xml any longer. For what it's worth, here this was my idea. This should apply against the 9.10.2 tarball for ubuntu docs.
