gtk-gnutella 0.96.5-1 (Intrepid) DOES work.
gtk-gnutella 0.96.4-2 (Hardy) DOES NOT work.
Following this logic, I believe gtk-gnutella does not work in the other stable releases either.

Users here have confirmed that installing 0.96.5-1 on Hardy fixes the problem. This needs to be SRU/backported to at least Hardy.
