I upgraded my main computer to Karmic today, and I'm affected (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20091020 Ubuntu/9.10 (karmic) Firefox/3.5.3). I tried and also failed with the current official release, with a fresh profile, and all plugins and add-ons disabled.

No problem however, on a pre-release VirtualBox Karmic with libcairo2 1.8.8-2ubuntu1 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20091007 Ubuntu/9.10 (karmic) Firefox/3.5.3), running on the same computer.

My computer uses an Intel chip (82G33/G31 Express Integrated).
