Our support hasn't changed. We don't have any support for it natively but overriding the login storage module with an extension should continue to work.

The extension probably needs to be updated to handle the changes in XPCOM component registration: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/XPCOM/XPCOM_changes_in_Gecko_2.0#Component_registration
