In an up-to-date fresh tribe 4 install, I've seen the "evicting pixmaps" message, but it looks it has no relation with the hangs (my laptop has hanged without this message and I've seen this message without a hang).

However it looks like the following lines are important:

(II) intel(0): [drm] removed 1 reserved context for kernel
(II) intel(0): [drm] unmapping 8192 bytes of SAREA 0xf89c1000 at 0xb7b65000
(EE) intel(0): I830 Vblank Pipe Setup Failed 0

My last hang Xorg.0.log file attached.
