@ZAP: Thanks for volunteering. I will let you know when I have something concrete. I am still tinkering and there have been some changes to implement OTR only rather than accommodating XTLS too. One thing I have to be careful of is that OTR is considering dropping support for Python-OTR, which could be a problem for me. But for the Google IM and Jabber this will not be a problem. João Paulo Rechi Vita is helping to get the spec right and will be writing the code for the Gabble CM.
