But LibreOffice should be able to use a newer version of Language Tool installed via a package. So it would involve both Ubuntu and LibreOffice. Can representative from both parties have a look at this and come up with a solution?
I'd prefer: For both spelling and grammar on Linux, Open/LibreOffice should use what is offered via packages on the system, so both spelling and grammar can upgrade and be used independently of Open/LibreOffice.
