Thanks very much! Could you please help get this into the review
process by pushing a branch and proposing it be merged?

You might as well update that section of the developer docs, which
will be under doc/developers/authentication-ring.txt.

It would be nice if there was a test for it, but if it's hard to write
one we will help.
