In progress.
In the first pass, I'm just trying to make the "CHKInventory.
have a specific implementation, rather than the generic.
Though in doing so, I noticed that "per_inventory" tests aren't actually
running more than 1 permutation yet, so I'm fixing that up before the
above branch will really be ready for merging.
(Note that the CHKInventory.
so I'll know when I have the tests running properly.)
